Join us on Monday, August 12 at 6:30pm for a wild edible walk at Maude Neiding Park with Alison McKim, adjunct professor at Lorain County Community College and CWRU. Come join us for a peaceful evening stroll, and explore how these local plants have been traditionally used for food, healing, and friendship.
This outdoor event will take place rain or shine, so pack an umbrella, wear comfy walking shoes, and meet us at the picnic pavilion #4 on the Park Avenue side of the park. Please note that we will be walking through the park and may be on uneven ground at various points.
This program is intended for adults and is suitable for ages 16+. Registration is required and spaces are limited. Register below or call the library at 440-988-4230.
Maude Neiding Park is located at 960 Cleveland Avenue. There is an additional entrance to the park with a small parking lot on Park Avenue.
Note: This event was originally scheduled for Monday, July 15. All existing registrations for that date have been moved to this rescheduled date.
