Join us on Monday, February 12 at 6:30pm for a journey through the history of amusement parks in northern Ohio with the Western Reserve Historical Society.
By the turn of the century, there were approximately 30 amusement parks operating in Ohio. A large number operated not only in Cleveland but the surrounding area. The program focusses on Geauga Lake, Chippewa Lake Park, Idora, Luna, Puritas, Myers Lake and touches on some lesser known parks like Lincoln Park, WilloBeach, Gordon Gardens and Forest City.
