Program Description

Event Details

All ages are invited to join us at 6:30pm on Monday, March 25 for a program about total solar eclipses with David Lengyel, Observatory and Planetarium Coordinator at Oberlin College. Learn about how eclipses occur, why they're uncommon to see even though they typically happen somewhere on the planet each year, what you should expect to see during the total solar eclipse on April 8, tips for photographing the event, and what paths of totality can be expected in the future.

Registration is suggested for this program. Register below or call the library at 440-988-4230. Those who register with an email address will receive a reminder in advance of the program.

A limited number of solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available at this event, one pair per attendee while supplies last.
