The Amherst Public Library’s Board of Trustees meet in the library’s DeLloyd Room on the second Monday of the month at 5:45 pm.  The public is welcome to attend.

Build a support system with people who understand. Alzheimer’s Association® support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for people living with dementia and their care partners to:
• Develop a support system.

The Friends of the Amherst Public Library sponsor an evening book group that meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm. 

The Friends of the Amherst Public Library sponsor a morning book group that meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 10am. 

Monthly general meetings of the Friends of the Amherst Public Library are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of the month at 11:15am.

The Friends of the Amherst Public Library annual free document shredding event will take place in the library parking lot on Saturday, July 12 from 9am - 12pm (or until the truck is full). There is a limit of five boxes or bags per vehicle.
