This storytime is designed for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers, and will include stories, songs, instruments and more! Registration is not needed for these sessions. Library Branch: Amherst Public Library Room: Second Floor Children's Area Age Group: Children Program Type: Reading Enrichment All ages are invited to read to a licensed therapy dog in the second floor children's area. Come with your favorite book or borrow one of ours! Canine Reading Buddies is scheduled monthly on the first Saturday at 11am.

Library Branch: Amherst Public Library Room: Community Room A/B Age Group: Adults Program Type: Arts & Crafts Required Seats Remaining: 16 Join us for monthly Watercolor Pencils and More Art Workshops with artist and instructor Mary Jo Clark. Enjoy learning new skills and techniques during this creative workshop where all skill levels are welcome. You do not have to have attended previous workshop sessions to attend this one. Students will need a set of watercolor pencils, pink erasers, a #8 round Taklon brush, a natural sponge, a ½” foam brush, and an ultra-fine Sharpie or .02 Micron pen, and 140 lb. Watercolor paper. This class is intended for adults only and registration is required. Register below or call the library at 440-988-4230 to register over the phone.

Library Branch: Amherst Public Library Room: Community Room A/B Age Group: Adults Program Type: Health & Wellness Required Seats Remaining: 30 Event Details: Learn breathing techniques to clear the mind and be present in the moment as instructor Cindy Miller leads you through movements to stretch and strengthen muscles that support the joints and flexibility. These classes are suitable for all ages and experience levels. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and bring water to stay hydrated. (Bottle filling stations are available on both floors of the library.) Registration is required separately for each date. Register here or call the library at 440-988-4230. Registration for all classes in the May/June series of Seated Yoga Flow Fridays will open at 9am on Tuesday, April 1.
