Program Description

Event Details

Join us for four weekly sewing classes with instructor Neta Kizzer this September! Reuse, Recycle, and Restyle with a new project every Monday at 6pm, September 9 - 30.

Attendees should have basic sewing machine skills and are required to bring their own sewing machine, thread, and pins. The library is not able to supply sewing machines. Additional supplies are required, depending on the weekly project. Please see the calendar entry for each week for full details.

For week three, you will need to bring 4 pieces of 7.5in x 10.5in fabric. Two of the pieces will be used for the outside of the Book Sleeve and two pieces will be used for the inside liner. If you are using jeans or flannel to make your Book Sleeve, you should consider using a cotton fabric for the inside liner.

Please note: Old clothes brought in for these projects should be adult size.

Registration is required. Please register for each weekly session separately. Register below or call the library at 440-988-4230.
